Frequently asked questions
How do I align my daily coloring and journal?
Select your current day number (1–365) on startup or in the settings menu. The app aligns your daily illustrations and journal reflections to match your pace. You can change it later — nothing is locked to a calendar date, so falling behind or skipping ahead doesn't break anything.
Where are my notes, coloring, and puzzle data saved?
By default, all journal responses, coloring canvas fills, and word search puzzle progress are stored locally on your device.
If you turn on Cloud Sync, your progress, reflection notes, artwork, and puzzle states are backed up to your private Google Drive app-data folder so you can sync across devices.
How do I manage or delete my cloud backup?
You can manage or clear hidden app data at any time from Google Drive Settings > Manage Apps in a web browser. This works the same way whether you signed in on Android or iOS.
I got a new phone. How do I get my journal back?
Install Chronicles on the new device and turn on Cloud Sync with the same Google account you used before. Your reflections, artwork, and progress will restore from your Drive app-data folder.
If Cloud Sync was never enabled on the old device, your entries were only ever stored on that device and there is no backup for us to restore — we never had a copy. If you still have the old phone, enable Cloud Sync there first, then sign in on the new one.
Where do I enter an access code?
Access codes are redeemed inside the app — open the redemption option from the welcome screen or the dashboard menu, then paste the code exactly as you received it.
Codes are single-use and tied to whoever redeems them first, so treat a code like cash until it's been used. If a code is rejected, don't keep retrying it — email us with the code and we'll look it up.
How do I cancel a subscription?
It depends on how you subscribed. If you subscribed through the App Store, cancel in iOS Settings > your name > Subscriptions. If you subscribed through Google Play, cancel under Payments & subscriptions in the Play Store app. Apple and Google manage those billing relationships directly — we can't cancel them for you.
If you purchased through our website instead, use the subscription option inside the app, or email us and we'll take care of it. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your access runs to the end of the period you already paid for.
Can I get my journal out of the app?
Yes. You can export a single day or your whole journal as a PDF, and save finished coloring pages to your device's photo library or share them from the app.
Can I buy access for my church, school, or group?
Yes — one-year seats are available in batches at a per-seat rate that drops as the batch gets larger. Each seat is its own individual code to hand out rather than one shared login, and you get a link to track how many have been redeemed.
Are you affiliated with The Blue Letter Bible or The Bible Recap?
No. This application is an independent product developed solely by 127 Evergreen Lane LLC. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by The Blue Letter Bible, The Bible Recap, or any other third-party ministry or publisher. Any mention of reading plans is strictly for user orientation.
How do I delete my data?
Deleting the app removes everything stored on that device. If you used Cloud Sync, clear the backup separately from Google Drive Settings > Manage Apps, since that copy lives in your Drive account rather than on your phone.
We don't hold your journal entries on our servers, so there is nothing further for us to delete on your behalf.
Still stuck?
Email us and we'll get back to you. To save a round trip, it helps to include your device and OS version, whether Cloud Sync is on, and the day number you were on when the problem happened.
